alea is a Spanish language school designed for foreign students. It is located in Oviedo, the capital of the Spanish province of Asturias. The teachers use various teaching methods, with an emphasis on the language's practical, everyday usage. We focus on teaching the student the foundations of the language as well as its intricacies. The program also introduces Spain´s rich culture, traditions, art, etc., giving special attention to the role of Oviedo and Asturias in the history and cultural heritage of Spain.

alea was founded in the year 2000 and students from all around the world have chosen it to learn in a region with an unarguably rich heritage whose environment is markedly different from the conception of Spain that is traditionaly advertised.
