Mi tiempo donde ALEA me ha gustado mucho. Las Clases son pequeñas (3 - 5 personas) y entonces muy intensivas. Los profesores a quienes conocí eran todos buenos. El nivel en general es alto y el ambiente es muy agredable. Especialmente las excursiones en los fines de semana me gustaban muchísimo. Visitamos un montón de sitios culturales, turísticos y culinaricos. He aprendido con ALEA no sólo mucho Español, pero también mucho sobre España y su cultura.
Para preperar un año der ERASMUS muy recomendable.
PDie Zeit bei ALEA hat mir sehr gefallen. Die Klassen sind klein (3 - 5 Personen) und damit der Unterricht sehr intensiv. Die Lehrer, die ich kennengelernt habe, waren sehr gut. Das Niveau ist allgemein hoch und die Stimmung sehr angenehm. Besonderer Hoehepunkt fuer mich sind die Exkursionen am Wochenende, bei denen man gemeinschaftlich Asturien und seine kulturellen, touristischen und nicht zuletzt kulinarischen Hoehepunkte kennenlernen kann. Ich habe durch ALEA eine Menge nicht nur ueber die Sprache, sondern auch ueber Land und Leute gelernt.
Als Starthilfe fuer ein ERASMUS - Jahr ideal.

Hola a todos que lo leáis,
yo estuve en Oviedo en Pascua del 2002 haciendo un curso de idioma. Y como antes ya había pasado un rato en esa preciosa ciudad y había encontrado a unos amigos allí, no me lo pensé mucho tiempo dónde hacer el dicho curso. No resultó difícil encontrar una academia de idiomas porque en seguida hallé la página web de Alea. Además, estaba situado en el más céntrico centro, a cuatro pasos del Ayuntamiento, es decir, es una zona muy bonita.
Las clases eran muy divertidas - aunque no éramos muchos alumnos - y pasaba el tiempo volando. Quiero decir que se aprendía y se divertía mucho porque los profesores se ocupaban mucho de uno. Estaban abiertos a los deseos de los alumnos, sea respecto a la gramática, el léxico o por ejemplo la historia del país.
Los fines de semana organizaban viajes a lugares de interés por casi toda la provincia de Asturias. Allí hay de todo: mar, montanas (Llanes), cuevas (Valporquero).... Saqué unas fotos de los viajes que os voy a mandar también!
En fin, yo lo pasé muy bien en Alea y Oviedo (de que da una buena imagen la ´Vetusta´ de Clarín en su novela social "La Regenta")!

Hola!
Soy Anamarija Pezdir de Eslovenia y tengo 27 anos. El ano pasado encontre por casualidad en el internet la pagina de la academia ALEA. Quise conocer Asturias y esto fue uno de los razones por los que elegi esta escuela. Participe en el curso de espanol comercial.
Al venir a la academia me encontre con un ambiente familiar, con los profesores muy amables y con mucha paciencia y tambien con los alumnos de practicamente todo el mundo.
Yo recomiendo esta academia a cada uno que quiere aprender mucho y que quiere la naturaleza bellisima sin calor en el verano.

Estuve un mes con Alea en Oviedo y puedo deciros que me lo ha pasado muy bien. Las clases eran muy interesantes y los profes son muy agradables y profesionales. Oviedo es una ciudad muy buonita y en verano la marcha en Gijon (20 minutos en bus) es fenominal!!!
I spent one month in Oviedo at Alea and I was very very pleased with the whole set-up. The school is small and has a very family feel to it, my classes had about 5/6 people and at night and at the weekends we all met up and went for drinks, trips and other cool things. The classes were interesting and the teachers very friendly and professional. My Spanish which was non-existent before was taken to a very respectable level!
Oviedo is a very nice place to visit and in summer is quite quiet but a 20 minute bus ride takes you to Gijon where the fiesta in summer is fantastic! You'll need to get in training for the nights out until 6am!!!!
I can highly recommend Alea and hope that if you're reading this you'll take my advice and go!

Hablar de mi experiencia en Alea es un placer, aunque creo que será difícil para quien leerá mi correo entender cuanto ha sido increible y maravillosa mi estancia en esta academia. Antes de nada me presentaré: me llamo Valerio y soy un chico italiano que hace un año decidió hacer la locura de su vida. Sin saber una palabra de español tomé la decisión de pasar el resto de mi vida, o por lo menos muchos años, en España. Pero entre mi ilusión y la realidad había una oposición, el M.I.R.. Ya sé que esta palabra no significa nada para los que no son españoles y sólo comentaré que se trata de un examen muy, muy difícil y que aprobé.
¿Cómo hice?
Simplemente tuve un gran profesor, que me permitió aprender el español en muy poco tiempo, y encontré a un muy querido amigo, que me ayudó todas las veces que estuve en dificultad. Estoy hablando de la misma persona, el director de Alea: Hernán. Una persona única y maravillosa. Alea es una academia fantástica porque refleja a su fundador, una persona alegre, simpática, dinámica y muy preparada. En Alea puedes aprender y estudiar sin aburrirte porque las clases son muy variadas, porque todos los fines de samana se va de excursión, porque Hernán siempre inventa algo para sorprenderte.
Pasar dos meses en Alea ha sido sin duda entre las mejores experiencias de mi vida, y os aconsejo a todos que hagais lo mismo que hice yo para aprender el español: ¡Id todos a Oviedo en la Calle Fray Ceferino 10 2-dcha! Aún me acuerdo la dirección, es imposible olvidarse algo de esta experiencia. Y, quizás, nos encontraremos porque, en cuanto pueda, pasaré a saludar a mis amigos Hernán y Mercedes.

I spent a marvelous three weeks in Oviedo in the Fall of 2001 studying Spanish at ALEA. Classes were intensely interactive, full of information, paced at my level and lots of fun. I especially enjoyed making conversation and eating treats during "coffee break" at the café down the street. I stayed with a family which also housed University students and had a chance to chat, watch TV and partake of traditional Spanish meals, recipes included! The city of Oviedo is a perfect size: one can walk anywhere and there are cultural events throughout the year. I hop to study at ALEA again in the near future and continue my formal Spanish Education.

I m writing this letter in english so that beginners will understand.i have just spent 3 weeks at alea in oviedo. It is a very small and intimate school,where the teachers are helpful and friendly. It is a most interesting and unusual part of spain (a welcome change from the costas). The biggest advantage of a small school like alea is the absence of the english language between the lessons and after school. In other words total immersion in spanish, which is the perfect way to learn the language.

Pasé un mes fantástico este verano estudiando español en ALEA, y lo recomendaría sinceramente a todos. Creo que no podía haber aprender tanto español durante tan poco tiempo en ningún otro lugar. La enseñanza fue de primera cualidad. Las clases fue pequeño también, así que recibimos mucha atención personal. Además de estudiar el idioma, discutimos varias temas interesantes durante algunas clases, y aprendé mucho sobre la historia y la cultura de España también. Los profesores organizaron diversas actividades para los estudiantes fuera de las clases (y a veces para cambiar la situación de las clases), incluso excursiones a las montañas, a la costa, al campo, a sitios historicos, y a fiestas locales. Por Oviedo y Asturias, no había ido antes, y me encantaban. La gente, el ambiente, el paisaje, la cultura única (¡por ejemplo la sidra famosa!)… todo es perfecto para una experiencia inolvidable. ¡Tengo la intención de regresar pronto!

I spent a fantastic month studying Spanish in ALEA this summer, and would whole-heartedly recommend the school to anyone. I don’t think I could have learned so much in so little time anywhere else! The teaching was top quality. The classes were small too, so we received a lot of personal attention. As well as studying the language, we discussed various interesting topics during some classes, and I learnt a lot about the history and culture of Spain. The teachers organised many activities for the students outside of lessons (and sometimes to vary the location of the lessons), including excursions to the mountains, coast, countryside, historical sites, and local fiestas. As for Oviedo and Asturias, I hadn’t been before, and absolutely loved them. The people, the atmosphere, the landscape, the unique culture (such as the famous cider!)… everything is perfect for an unforgettable experience. I intend to go back soon!

This is just a quick letter to anyone interested in learning Spanish at ALEA.
I graduated from Leeds Uni in 2002 and then moved to Spain in January (not knowing a word of Spanish) with a mission to LEARN Spanish. I enrolled at ALEA for an intensive Spanish Course and I have no regrets!!! I studied for the D.E.L.E. Diploma de Espanol and obtained 94%! Hernan is a good teacher to say the least! I am now back in UK looking for jobs to use my Spanish and am able to speak..write and use Spanish at a business level.
Initially it was one to one teaching and then other students joined me. It was GREAT....I loved every minute. Hernan helped me soooo much and his friendly but business like approach certainly impressed me every day I was there.
I was living in Gijon and got the train every day over to Oviedo. It was such a great experience.
Asturias is a gorgeous place to live. Hernan arranged outings and visits to local areas of interest and was always so willing to help. For me it was the best year of my life and I would recommend ALEA to anyone.

Llegar a Espanya no fue nada facil para mi, por todos los tramites que tuve que cumplir, pero aprender espanyol e integrarme en la ciudad de oviedo fue sencillisimo gracias a la gente de la academia ALEA,
que me recibieron de la manera mas grata posible. Cuando llegue a Espanya no era capaz de decir dos frases seguidas en espanyol, y de un modo casi magico, al cabo de un mes, la lengua espanyola no tenia secretos para mi. Sera dificil que se borren de mi memoria las clases que nos animaban a descubrir por nosotros mismos las capacidades comunicativas del espanyol y que contribuyeron a que mi estancia en Oviedo y en Espanya fuese una experiencia asombrosa e inolvidable.
Ispanyaya gelmek benim için hiç kolay olmadı ancak geldikten sonra beni mümkün olan en iyi şekilde karşılayan akademi ALEA sayesinde ispanyolcayı öğrenip oviedo ya alıştım.İspanya ‘ya geldiğimde ispanyolcada ardarda iki cümle bile kuramıyordum ama sihirli bir şekilde bir ayın sonunda ispanyolcanın benim için hiçbir zorluğu kalmamıştı.Orda yaşadıklarımın, hafızamdan silinmesi imkansız çünkü oviedo benim için gerçekten mükemmel ve unutulmaz bir deneyim oldu.
